How to make homemade soap


How many times have you heard your grandparents talk about when they made homemade soap and wondered how they do it?, Now you have the solution and not very complicated.

With water, oil, caustic soda and a little patience you can make your own homemade soap.


Instructions

We are going to explain how to make homemade soap, as has been the case until a few years ago. Now it is very normal household soap is made, but up to very recently, our grandparents, they had a "recipe" for making your own homemade soap.
To make our homemade soap, we will need the following:
  • A clay pot, metal or glass
  • A wooden spoon
  • 3 liters of water
  • 3 liters of oil (used for frying)
  • 500 grams of caustic soda
We took in the container, add caustic soda and water carefully as caustic soda can burn the skin, so try not to touch it.
Now it's time to add the oil slowly, while the wooden spoon we moving the mixture. This process should extend it for a while, about an hour, until we have a whitish thick paste.
Now let rest for a couple of days and ready and have our homemade soap.
If you want the soap is an aromatic, essential oils can have lemon, strawberry or whatever you prefer. If you want the soap out whiter bleaching can add a product, like a splash of indigo.
